Fair Treatment

Equality and fair treatment is at the centre of all the JAC does.

Under the Constitutional Reform Act 2005 we must appoint on merit and that combined with a wide pool of high quality applicants will ensure that the most meritorious candidates will succeed and that the best judges will be appointed. Merit and equality therefore go hand in hand. That is why the JAC makes huge efforts to ensure our processes are fair and all applicants recieve equal treatment.

Our guiding principle is 'diversity in the field, merit in the selection'
