Alistair Darling points the finger over bank regulation

Hmm.  Alistair Darling has been on the radio talking about financial stuff and how to avoid another of these credit-crunchie thingies.

Among other things, he was talking about the supervision of those horrid investment bankers.   Apparently they need to be watched a lot more closely than they have been.

Says Mr Darling: "On investment banking, there are risks there and the regulators need to do more to make sure those risks are covered. There is a lot of risk there that frankly they should have paid greater attention to."

Er, hang on, Chancellor.  Who's been in charge of financial regulation for the last decade
