The new leader of labour in Wales gave a very poor performance. Peter Hain made a last ditch appeal for PC and Lib Dem supporters to vote tactically to keep Conservatives out. What a defeatist strategy.

According to their website, he has lived in Towyn for 22 years and is a councillor on Towyn and Kinmel Bay Community Council. There’s no indication why he’s standing here rather than in Clwyd West.
