2009 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series Awards Ceremony
The 2009 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series  Awards Ceremony took place Monday, Nov. 16, at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in West Los Angeles and saluted the 2009 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series  champions and other winners. [Full story]

Part 1 includes a three-minute season-highlight montage; emcee Bob Frey's opening monologue; the introduction of the 2009 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series world champions; NHRA President Tom Compton's welcome and acknowledgements; humorous comments, remembrances, and congratulations from Coca-Cola Chief Marketing Officer-Active Lifestyle Brand Rohan Oza, who was part of the team that brought Coca-Cola to the NHRA in 2001.

 

Part 2 includes the introduction of the 2 through 10 Full Throttle points finishers in Pro Stock Motorcycle (complete with video highlights for each) and season champion Hector Arana.

 

Part 3 includes Full Throttle Senior Marketing Manager Chris Lopez and ESPN commentator Mike Dunn, who introduced the winners of the Quest for the Full Throttle Moment; Full Throttle TV host Jessi Combs, who introduced a compilation of clips from their popular programming; the introduction of the 2 through 10 Full Throttle points finishers in Pro Stock (complete with video highlights for each) and season champion Mike Edwards.

 

Part 4 includes a tribute to National DRAGSTER magazine, which celebrated its 50th year of publication in 2009; the introduction of the 2 through 10 Full Throttle points finishers in Funny Car (complete with video highlights for each) and season champion Robert Hight; presentation of the Road to the Future award.

 


Part 5 includes the introduction of the 2 through 10 Full Throttle points finishers in Top Fuel (complete with video highlights for each) and season champion Tony Schumacher
