Lady Gaga comic bookLast month, we gave you the first look at "Fame: Lady Gaga," the upcoming biography comic hitting shelves later this year from Bluewater Productions. Since the first cover created such a stir, we're back with an exclusive peek at two more covers planned for the issue.

Just in case you missed the news the first time around, the new line of "Fame" comics will present unauthorized biographies of celebrities from the music and movie world, kicking off with MTV's Woman of the Year, Lady Gaga. According to the publisher, the preview issue of "Fame: Lady Gaga" will be available in May for Free Comic Book Day, and future issues will focus on such notable pop-culture icons as 50 Cent, David Beckham and Taylor Swift.

Robert PattinsonLast month, we gave you the first look at Lady Gaga on the cover of "Fame," Bluewater Productions' new line of celebrity biography comics. While Gaga's debut was certainly big news, "Twilight" fans were most excited about the presence of franchise actors Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in the "Fame" lineup.

Now, we have your first look at a new cover for "Fame: Robert Pattinson," as well as an exclusive preview of interior art from the comic. Arriving on shelves in May, the 32-page comic promises to "trace Pattinson's career from his first performance in Tess of the D'Urbervilles at London's Barnes Theatre to his star turn in the Twilight movies."

Ellen DeGeneresLast month, we gave you the first look at "Female Force: Ellen DeGeneres," the latest in Bluewater Productions' line of comic-book biographies of famous women. Back then, we only had unlettered, black-and-white pages from the comic, but now we have an exclusive, finished preview of the issue hitting shelves in March.

The comic promises to follow the entertainer "from her youth in Louisiana, through the endless smoke-filled comedy club circuit, to her breakthrough sitcom and finally as an Emmy-winning daytime talk show host." Written by Sandra C. Ruckdeschel with art by Pedro Ponzo, "Female Force: Ellen DeGeneres" will feature many of the touchstone moments from her career — including her recent addition to the "American Idol" judging panel.

The publisher has also informed MTV News that a portion of the proceeds from the comic will be donated to The Humane Society in DeGeneres' name. Read more...

Lady Gaga comic bookWe've seen comic books about everyone from "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer to Presidential puppy Bo Obama hit the shelves this year from publisher Bluewater Productions, and now the company has revealed exclusively to MTV News where they'll turn their attention next.

Following on the heels of their popular "Political Power" and "Female Force" comics, Bluewater will publish unauthorized biographies of celebrities from the music and movie world in their upcoming "Fame" line — and their first subject will be none other than MTV's Woman of the Year, Lady Gaga. According to the publisher, the preview issue of "Fame: Lady Gaga" will be available in May for Free Comic Book Day, and future issues will focus on such notable pop-culture icons as Robert Pattinson, 50 Cent, David Beckham and Taylor Swift.

Rock N Roll ComicsBack in October, we brought you the first look at Bluewater Productions' upcoming line of "Rock 'N' Roll Comics" graphic novels, republished from the original magazine series as 10 bi-monthly books.

You've already seen the covers to "The Beatles" and "Hard Rock Heroes," the first two issues of the series, and now we have four more for you to check out exclusively on Splash Page. Along with the aforementioned pair, this your first look at the covers for "The Pink Floyd Experience," "The Led Zeppelin Experience," "The King: Elvis Presley," and "The Spirit of the '60s" (featuring The Doors, Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Spirit, Janis Joplin, and various other musicians).

Ellen Degeneres comic bookBluewater's "Female Force" comics have already put the spotlight on "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer, First Lady Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey and "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling, among other notables, and now the much-publicized line of biography comics will turn its attention to popular comedian and talk show host Ellen Degeneres.

Hitting shelves in March 2010, "Female Force: Ellen Degeneres" promises to follow the entertainer "from her youth in Louisiana, through the endless smoke-filled comedy club circuit, to her breakthrough sitcom and finally as an Emmy-winning daytime talk show host."

A few months ago, we gave you the first look at Bluewater Productions' comic book biography of "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer. While the book arrives on shelves November 11 (just in time for "New Moon" to hit theaters), eager fans can actually check it out now—as a downloadable motion comic on iTunes and other mobile phone app stores. "Twilight Unbound: The Stephenie Meyer Story" will also be available in Nokia's Ovi Store and the Android Marketplace as a video download or as a packaged mobile app that contains a history of Forks, Washington (where the "Twilight" stories are set). Read more...

Taming of the Star RunnerNovelist S.E. Hinton is taking the leap from comic book outsider to comic book author, thanks to a newly established partnership with Bluewater Productions.

Bluewater, the publishers behind the "Female Force" and "Political Power" line of comic books, will team up with Hinton for a string of various comic book titles. Hinton's first project will be an adaptation of her young adult novel "Taming of the Star Runner," set for debut in the spring of 2010.

The story focuses on Travis, a city kid that has trouble acclimating to rural life after being sent to live on his uncle's ranch. Travis forges a bond with Casey, who runs a riding school at the ranch and tries to tame a dangerous horse called the Star Runner. Travis finds a kinship in the untamable horse, as he feels unable to change his own behavior. Read more...

Michael JacksonThe "Michael Jackson, King Of Pop" biography comic hitting shelves tomorrow has sold out in pre-release orders and is getting a new printing, according to publisher Bluewater Productions—and we have your first look at the new cover.

Scheduled to hit shelves the same day as the massive Jackson concert documentary "This Is It," Bluewater's "King of Pop" comic book promises to "trace Jackson’s rise as a musical prodigy with the Jackson 5 through his tragic passing in June."

The new printing of the book will feature a cover by Giuseppe Mazzola from Jackson’s official fan club, who also provides the foreword to the larger, 30-page edition of the book. Bluewater has provided Splash Page readers with the first look at the cover. Read more...

Michael JacksonBack in August, we gave you the first look at the upcoming "Tribute: Michael Jackson, King Of Pop" comic book with a five-page preview. Now, just two days before it hits shelves—right alongside the premiere of the Michael Jackson movie event "This Is It"—we have six more pages to show you from the comic.

Promising to chronicle the entertainer's life and many contributions to music and pop culture, "Tribute" features a wraparound cover and forward by Giuseppe Mazzola, a member of "The Official Michael Jackson Fan Club" and a personal friend of the musician. Wey-Yuih Loh ("Political Power: Colin Powell") and Giovanni Timpano ("Vincent Price Presents") will write and illustrate the book, respectively. Read more...
