CALL FOR APPLICATIONS/NOMINATIONS
for Chair, APS Publications Committee
Applications and
nominations are invited for Chair, APS Publications Committee to succeed Kim
E. Barrett, Ph.D., who will complete her term as Chair on December 31, 2010.
The APS Executive Cabinet plans to interview candidates in the summer of
2010. Candidates should be APS members and have served previously as an
editor of a scientific journal. The successful candidate serves as an ex
officio member of the APS Council (3 meetings/yr) and oversees the
activities of the Publications Committee (2 meetings/yr) detailed in the
Committee’s annual report

The Committee also selects journal editors and addresses the ethical issues
raised by the Editors.
Applications/Nominations should be accompanied by a curriculum vitae and
received before March 31, 2010.
