Now that the only respectable portions of "Star Wars" have been mined clean, TT Games has no choice but to return to the prequel timeline for their next game: "Lego Star Wars: The Clone Wars." It's an interesting move, given that The Clone Wars were already covered by the first "Lego Star Wars" game, but it seems this installment will focus on the Cartoon Network series of the same name, with all its different characters and lack of constant Lucas meddling.
It's hard for me to get excited about the news, since my favorite parts of the "Lego Star Wars" series has been the humorous reenactments of classic "Star Wars" scenes. Considering the fact that I haven't watched more than 5 minutes of "The Clone Wars" TV series, I feel like I'm gonna miss just about every joke, leaving me with amusing-but-well-worn gameplay to keep me company.
Which brings me to my second point: Where's "Lego Lost"? I'd buy that game in a second.
