The latest "God of War 3" trailer, which you can enjoy above, is titled "Vengeance." The title relates to the fact that Kratos, the series' protagonist, can't seem to let the whole murdered-family-and-ruined-life thing go. In "God of War 3" he'll continue his climb to the top of Mount Olympus, but this time he's got the help of the Titans, who are equally pissed off.
The end of the trailer features a battle with a strange horse creature. I actually played that segment at the last Sony event in New York about a month ago and I can say that the whole thing is taking place within the engine of the game. It's not pre-rendered, it's gameplay. Even when the camera pulls back to show the titan swinging her arm (it's Gaia, by the way), Kratos is still controllable and can move around and attack...you just won't really see where you're going for a few seconds.
I kinda wish that the trailer was released as straight gameplay, so you can see that they're not covering up load screens with fancy cuts, but until next month I guess you'll just have to take my word for it.

Man what a grand stage Kratos will be playing on. This trailer truly makes the game seem EXTREMELY HUGE!!! I just hope that they make amazing ad's that lasted, just like they did for the first GOW's to really sell this game.
