The most DIY-looking doll to come out of video gaming this week actually has nothing to with "LittleBigPlanet" for a change. NECA will be unloading replica Big Daddy dolls from "BioShock 2," which you may recognize from the game's early teasers. The toys come timed for the game's launch next Tuesday and will be accompanied by another NECA release -- replica EVE Hypo syringes.
NECA's new offerings are available now, according to NECAOnline.com, which cleverly avoids calling that EVE syringe a "toy," as it is clearly labeled for "Ages 17 & Up."
The cuter of the two replicas, the Big Daddy Plush Doll, measures up at just under 7" and sports a baseball head, wire frame cage and corkscrew arm, which are supposed to represent discarded parts from around Rapture that a Little Sister used to piece him together.
The 8" syringe, meanwhile, boasts LED lights that will allow users to simulate EVE injections and getting supped up with all of those plasmids from "BioShock 2" that let you control elements and toss large pieces of debris at wandering uglies. It also comes pre-weathered patina that makes the device look like you picked it up off the street.
What do you make of NECA's new "BioShock 2" replicas? Would you snuggle up with a Big Daddy at night? Sound off in the comment section below.
