Taylor Lautner is quite literally becoming a boy toy. The "Twilight" werewolf is already set to star in "Max Steel" — he'll play the titular extreme-sports-star-turned-superhero based on Mattel toy line — and now he's stretching his acting limits even more.

According to a press release, Universal Pictures has lined up Taylor for "Stretch Armstrong," a.k.a. another franchise based on a toy (this time it's a Hasbro-owned one).

For all the gals out there who want to get away from touchdowns and halftime shows, there's Channing Tatum, Amanda Seyfried and a whole lotta tears. Channing's wife Jenna Dewan showed her support for her hubby's flick, posting, "it goes without saying, but go see Dear John this weekend!" Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.

"Dear John" stars Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried dropped by the Soho Apple Store last night to chat about their movie and everything from perfectionism to pink dogs.

Both stars admitted that they don’t know how they finished filming the flick (which is out today!) because they spent so much time on set scouring YouTube for funny videos with director Lasse Halstrom. Channing recalled that Lasse refined their YouTube searches with suggestions like, “Let’s search for pink dogs.” But shooting wasn’t carefree fun from start to finish. The hardest scene to shoot was when their characters reunite after seven years. Channing explains that “in improv you find the tone better,” so the two actually improvised the scene on the spot! And top secret: Amanda said she applies menthol around her eyes in scenes when her characters must cry, so if you catch any pictures of her tearing up, remember… she’ll be okay.

To get a closer look at Channing and Amanda's Apple Store adventure, click on the photo above. After the jump, see which Kardashian we caught spraying her scent!

In honor of the "Sweet Sixteen" countdown trends running rampant through media outlets recently, the folks over at FearNet.com decided to have a fan vote-off to choose the world's fiercest werewolves. Their Tournament of Werewolves kicked off on January 29 with four categories: American Wolf Men, International Wolf Men, She-Wolves and Teen Wolves, with four options in each.

Earlier this week they announced the final two in the American and International Wolf Men categories, but today the results were announced for the final two Teen Wolves and She-Wolves, and we couldn't be more thrilled.

If you haven't caught enough of "Fast & Furious" Paul Walker on Hollywood Crush today (we included him on our list of on-screen football hotties for his turn in "Varsity Blues"), we're here to bring you more! The actor is featured on the cover of the latest issue of Men’s Health, and in the article he dishes about the ways he keeps himself — and his life — on track.

Though Paul is known for his flashy flicks (he starred in the breakout hit "The Fast and the Furious") and his rugged good looks, this Hollywood hunk is not caught up in the LA scene. In fact, we were shocked to learn that he spends the bulk of his time in Indonesia. Paul told MH about his private getaway, and here’s a hint: it’s not exactly a five-star resort. "There wasn’t even access from the road; I literally had to bulldoze one. But it’s worth it. This place is one of the most beautiful on earth, if not the most beautiful-especially for the price," he explained.

Back when we spoke to Kristen Stewart at Sundance while she was promoting "Welcome to the Rileys", she told us on the red carpet that she has never "felt so personally involved in something" as she did with the film. In "Rileys," Kristen plays runaway stripper and prostitute, Mallory, who James Gandolfini's Doug Riley attempts to take in to lessen the pain of his own daughter's death.

Kristen never took the role lightly, even going to strip clubs to speak to the girls working in them and hear their stories. When MTV News caught up with Kristen to discuss the film more, we asked if there were any lingering effects of Mallory still with her.

Not that kissing Channing Tatum isn't inherently hot, but in "Dear John," which opens today, Amanda Seyfried and Channing made kissing each other doubly hot by doing it in the rain. And, if you don't think it's sexy to kiss while there's water pouring over you, then you really need to hear Channing's reasoning. It's pretty, pretty convincing.

"Well aside from rain scenes being very cinematic, I think they're very symbolic," he explains to MTV News. "I think they symbolize washing things clean, a new beginning. I can go on and on about the symbolization of it, but it's just hot to see a beautiful girl and they're just sort of wrapped in each other and the rain's coming down. They're usually alone and the fact that they don't care it's raining on them and it's just abandon."

Lauren Conrad released her second novel, “Sweet Little Lies” this week, and as the follow up to the wildly popular “L.A. Candy,” Lauren hopes this book will dive a little deeper into the story of reality-TV star Jane Roberts and her life in the Hollywood spotlight.

MTV News caught up with Lauren as she kicked off her book tour earlier this week in NYC (her adorable dress in the video is by Nanette Lepore for those of you fashion minds out there), and asked her about how the storyline for “Sweet Little Lies” has evolved. "I think that if fans take anything away from the book, [they should realize] there's a back side to every story," she said. "And when you're reading tabloids and seeing these people's lives exposed, it does affect them and it is hard to go through as a young girl."

Are you ready for some football, Crushers?! This Sunday the New Orleans Saints will face off against the Indianapolis Colts for Super Bowl XLIV. Paul Walker in "Varsity Blues"

James Van Der Beek may have been the star of this Texas high school football melodrama (he didn't want your life!), but it was Paul Walker as injured quarterback Lance Harbor that made us want to take up sports medicine and help the hottie lick his wounds. Figuratively, of course.
