The Center for Economic Development is Bulgarian non-governmental research institute in the area of economic policy, established in 1997. The CED is developing a specialized Internet portal www.econ.bg, containing vital information about the Bulgarian economy. The Portal consists of hyperlinks to information, arranged in different groups of economic categories and subcategories. |
Agency Economica (AE) was established in mid-2000 as a hundred percent subsidiary of the Center for Economic Development. AE contributes to the realization of the objectives of CED, supports and promotes the activities and achievements of the CED’s experts and researchers. Additionally, AE offers specific advisory services. |
The statistical portal Stat.bg contains database of more than 900 official indicators on the Bulgarian economy. The indicators are categorized according to the General Data Dissemination System (GDDS) of IMF and presented in user- friendly tables and charts. The portal supports links to sources and metadata, provides news and search. |
Estat is an agency for market, social and political researches. It was established in April 2002. The majority owner is the Center for Economic Development. |
