Southampton's current Labour MPs use the Parliamentary Communications Allowance of £10,000 per year to send you their leaflets. This allowance was introduced by the Labour Government to make it more difficult to remove sitting MPs. Royston Smith only uses money generated in fund raising or donations and has pledged not to use the Parliamentary Communications Allowance if elected.
