John Glen has over twelve years experience in business and is currently Senior Adviser to the Global Head of Strategy at Accenture. He co-ordinates his firm's participation at the World Economic Forum (Davos) and has led research projects on globalisation. John has worked in the oil and gas industries and in the public sector.
John was the Conservative candidate in Plymouth Devonport at the 2001 General Election. Between 2000 and 2001 he worked for William Hague MP assisting with the briefing for Prime Ministers' Question Time. John is a member of the Board of the Centre for Policy Studies and is particularly interested in Education policy. He has an interest in Foreign Affairs and has travelled to Uganda, South Africa and the Maldives as a policy adviser for the Westminster Foundation for Democracy.
John is married to Emma and has two step-children. In his spare time he is actively involved in his local church near Oxford. John is a Patron of Mansfield College, Oxford and he sits as a Justice of the Peace in Westminster.
