Not a member myself, but I'll be heading over to Swansea in Sept 2010, so I thought it logical to poke my head in. It seems you only have 5 councilors where I will be and no MPs. Fantastic Irish charm is what you need to take power in that area, arrg...h! I'll post every so often, explaining to you how to make your party better. Daniel Hannan is your man.Read more

NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have revealed part of their hand. £2bn off education? This isn't where the waste is. NHS is 70% of the budget, cut the incredible waste there. Claw back the money given by Labour to GPs while steadily reducing their workload and efficiency - admin and management staff in GPs practices for example. Massive, real savings that most people wouldn't notice or would be pleased to see.

TORIES GOT TALENT will be held from 5.30 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. on Tuesday 6 October in the Barbirolli Room at the Bridgewater Hall, Lower Mosley Street, Manchester M2 3WS, as part of The Freedom Zone on the Conservative Party Conference Fringe. Admission is free and open to all - no conference pass required.
If you'd like to be a contestant, simply e-mail Simon Richards, Director of The Freedom Association, at simon@tfa.net, stating your name, date of birth and mobile number.
The contest is open to all Conservatives under 30 years of age.

The International Young Democrat Union is delighted that Germany's Junge Union will be hosting this year's Council Meeting in Berlin between Wednesday 25 and Sunday 29 November 2009. November marks the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, and this will be a key theme of the event. Participants should expect... to meet interesting and engaging high-level speakers and be treated with great hospitality and friendliness. There will also be visits to points of interest in Berlin.
