Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko and Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili opened on Thursday a new building of the Georgian Embassy in Kyiv.
During the ceremony, Saakashvili said that the doors of his country's representative office will be open not only for citizens of Georgia, but for residents of Ossetia and Abkhazia. "I would like to assure you, my dear friends, that this is youth home, as well, and here you will always be able to find support and understanding," he said.
The Georgian and Ukrainian presidents put the first brick into the foundation of a new building for the embassy four years ago, Saakashvili said.
Yuschenko, in turn, said: "We have made great progress and great joint work is waiting for us. I believe in boundless opportunities for our partnership and a happy future for Ukraine and Georgia," he said.
