Reasons to support the Hall of Fame

Without the help of our donors and members, the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum would not be able to document the history of our national pastime, preserve priceless artifacts and reach millions of school children through educational programs.

As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational institution we depend on friends like you to help us fulfill our mission – preserving history, honoring excellence and connecting generations.

In order to fulfill our mission, we:

• Collect artifacts, works of art, music, literature and photographs significant to the history of bseball
• Preserve, document, and catalog our valuable collections
• Educate through curatorially sound and attractive exhibits;Instruct school children through innovative programs in math, science, communications, history, and economics
• Honor those who have made the most exceptional contributions to the game
