On-Campus Degrees: Bachelor

The bachelor's degree is the standard degree awarded for completing a four-year undergraduate education. If you already have an associate degree, you can complete your bachelor's degree in two years. The type of bachelor's degree you earn depends on your area of study. The bachelor's degree is an educational investment that can pay off in higher salary, increased job satisfaction, and career advancement. While no degree program can guarantee a career or salary, the bachelor's degree is often the minimum requirement for certain careers. The U.S. Census reports that bachelor's degree-holders earn almost twice as much as high school graduates, $56,788 compared to $31,071 per year.
