Q: Dez, is there a way to find out how a fund or foundation can be set up for Jasper Howards unborn child that falls within NCAA regulations?
I was hoping that something on this would have been published by now as many UConn fans, and a few from other schools are looking to where they can make a donation. - Tom, Stamford
A: Hey Tom.I know people who have actually gone to banks already (Jim Ring being one) trying to start funds for the child themselves. He said he couldn't a name and social security number first. I believe there will be an incredible of amount of support offered to Jasper's family, his girlfriend and unborn child whether it be financial or any other way. But right now, things are still a bit in flux. I know people are anxious to give but as of right now there hasn't even been a time scheduled for the funeral. I think a lot will be done including a fund like you mention but in short it's just too early to answer that question. You know I'll bring it to you as soon as I can. I'd like nothing more than to do that.
