Destiny Africa Children's Choir Performs In Avon

Stephen Odoch, 12, from Uganda, prays surrounded by the drums he and his fellow singers, dancers and musicians will be playing during a performance of the Destiny Africa Children's Choir Tuesday night in the Avon High School Auditorium. The concert was one of 85 performances scheduled throughout the New England area. The choir is comprised of orphaned children, rescued from war-torn Ugandan villages. The choir is scheduled to be in the area for three more weeks
