WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. - Bradley International Airport officials say two airlines are adding flights from Connecticut to four warm-weather destinations.

Kiran Jain, the airport's director of marketing and route development, told its board last week that Delta Airlines will revive the Cancun, Mexico, route in November. It's also adding flights to Fort Lauderdale and Fort Myers in Florida.

She says Southwest Airlines is increasing service to Tampa and Baltimore next spring.

Airport officials are promising what they call a "major new long-haul service announcement" on Thursday, but aren't saying if it involves those airlines or reviving overseas flights.

Northwest Airlines' nonstop service to Amsterdam ended last fall as fuel prices soared.
