Several people called police this morning to report a black bear wandering through downtown.
Police arrived to find a small bear that was about 200 pounds. The bear was treed on Summer Street and police waited for state Department of Environmental Protection officers to arrive.
DEP officers tranquilized the bear, the relocated it to a more rural area, police said.

They move them because they are 200lb predators.
