  1. Jon – do you think Totnes will be a tough nut to crack? ;)

  2. There is a rumour that Ed Fordham has been re-adopted as Lib Dem PPC for the new Hampstead & Kilburn constituency. Also Chris Maines in one of the Lewisham seats. And Julian Brazil (a Lib Dem county councillor) in Totnes.

  3. Julian Brazil has definately been selected for Totnes – a very winnable seat for the Lib Dems

  4. I’d like to drive to Wells and see some Lib Dem posters that say MUNT in large orange letters haha

  5. Andrew Dakers selected in Brentford and Isleworth.

  6. Mark Wright is the Liberal Democrat candidate for Bristol South.

  7. No-one has yet “officially” picked up on my posting of Sally Morgan as PPC for Central Devon.

  8. Gillingham and Rainham is being fought by Cllr Andy Stamp:
    http://www.libdems.org.uk/party/people/mr-andrew-stamp.0965.html

Rochester and Strood is being fought by Cllr Geoffrey Juby:
    http://www.libdems.org.uk/party/people/mr-geoffrey-juby.0670.html

  9. I can see my previous comments didn’t appear here, perhaps because they included links?

    New try without links:

Is there any actual reference, that Chris Butler will be the Lib Dem PPC in East Lothian in next General Election? He was the Lib Dem Candidate in East Lothian in the GE 2005, but I couldn’t find him from the list of PPCs at the nationl website of Lib Dems, nor could I find any confirmation from the website of the East Lothian Lib Dems, that he would have been reselected.

According to the website of Welsh Lib Dems Mike Powell is the Lib Dem PPC in Pontypridd and Ed Townsend is the Lib Dem PPC in Newport East.

  10. Comments with links can mess up the formatting of the page so they get held back. Chris Butler might not be the PPC – early on there were some problems with LibDemHome reporting Scottish Parliament candidate selections as Westminister candidate selections and I had to remove a few candidates wrongly added. He could potentially be another one.

I’ll add the two new ones in tonight. Thanks for the update.
