MIDDLETOWN -
Skeletal remains were found in a wooded area on Plaza Drive near Washington Street Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Someone passing by discovered the remains about 2:32 p.m., police said.
The incident is considered suspicious. Middletown detectives are working with Connecticut State Police Major Crimes.
The medical examiner's office is investigating the cause of death.
