Full Summary

  1. Don't go into Popzilla expecting to see something out of a Nickelodeon cartoon. This rapid-fire animated sketch show is less like Looney Tunes and more like the result of mixing TMZ, Beavis and Butthead and Mad TV in an industrial-sized blender and cranking the speed up to puree.

Rude, crude and equal-opportunity offensive, Popzilla is a half-hour long collection of short skits designed to skewer Hollywood's heavy hitters, immortalize celebrity missteps and chronicle the good, the bad and (especially) the ugly aspects of pop culture.

From Barack Obama's sex life to Kevin Federline's rapidly expanding waistline, no celebrity, political figure or cultural icon is safe. And Popzilla's lightning quick turnaround time means you'll be getting your celeb dirt almost as fast as Perez Hilton can type it (minus the spelling mistakes), thanks to executive producer Dave Thomas (SCTV) and his Emmy award-winning team at Animax Productions.

Straddling the line between clever, cutting and downright disturbing, Popzilla combines the edginess of South Park with the immediacy of YouTube, ensuring that every celebrity gaffe will go from "Twitter Trend" topic to primetime punch line before the stars' publicists have an opportunity to lodge a formal complaint.

Stars have had it easy for too long -- it's time for Popzillla to rummage through the headlines, blow the whistle on the reality show wannabes and bust on everyone from the freakishly pale stars of Twilight to the freakishly pure Jonas Brothers to the freakishly pregnant Heidi Klum.

So get ready for the cartoon sketch show guaranteed to change your life -- and make loudmouthed celebs think about changing their zip code.
