Promoting Natural Florida Through the Arts is an environmental art project created in partnership between Audubon of Florida, The Highwaymen Artists, LLC and the Broward County African American Research Library and Cultural Center.
This project seeks to create awareness, appreciation and knowledge of natural Florida and the need to conserve the remaining areas. We hope the participants will be empowered to find community solutions to growth and the associated impacts (i.e. urban sprawl, pollution and the human disconnection with nature). |
