Jenny Lind Park consultation: summer 2008
Over the last year we undertook a consultation to find out how you would like us to improve the children’s play and teenage facilities at the Jenny Lind Park.
Those who we consulted included local children, young people, community groups, local residents, all of who provided comments and identified areas they would like to see improved.
We then took these comments and built them into a questionnaire to see whether these views and ideas were shared by the wider community.
These comments and the information that was returned back through this questionnaire have been very useful and we are using them to develop outline plans.

Some people marked their ideas for improvements to the park on the aerial image which was on the back of the consultation form. Click here to view.
What happens next?
We will take the outline plans back to consultees to see whether they fit in with their vision for the park and then develop a detailed design.
We hope to share these outline plans during with local residents groups during Spring 2009 and then we will work on detailed plans.
