“Has our Legislature pulled too many of the HOA’s teeth? A house at the end of our block is green with weeds going to seed. When the neighbor complains, the answer is, 'We’re aware of it.’ Our HOA needs a spine implant!”

“Those of you who are claiming that Bush was the worst president ever shouldn’t be so quick to rule out Jimmy Carter. Unemployment in 1982 peaked at 10.8 percent compared to 7.6 percent now. Add in runaway inflation, mortgage rates near 14 percent, Americans held hostage by Iran for 444 days and ol’ Jimmy becomes a real contender.”
