Welcome to the exciting world of TUKS Mini-Baja.

Every year the University of Pretoria (TUKS) enters the Mini-Baja competition hosted by TUKS in conjunction with SAE here in South Africa.

Weekly meeting schedule

The team is currently taking a break and building up steam for the trying times that lie ahead. Full-time work will commence on the 5th of January, 2009 and the weekly meeting and work schedule is due for release closer to this date.

3rd December, 2008 ñ More testing!

• The vehicle have once again been repaired an tuned and are back on the tracks for testing, this time at the Gerotek Vehicle testing facility for race track testing.

1st December, 2008 ñ Vehicle repair

• Rigorous testing has its price! After a whole day of testing both the TUKS Mini-Bajaís had some serious repairs to be made.

25th & 28th November, 2008 ñ Vehicle testing

• The 2008 racers were repaired and taken for testing, fault finding and retrospective fine tuning at the TUKS RAG farm.

24th November, 2008 ñ Work has begun!

• The 2009 team held their opening meetings and establish development strategies for the new racing season.
