Who let the Doggs out? We’re not sure, but after watching the first-ever episode of Snoop’s late-night variety show, we’re glad they did. ‘Course, we’re slightly biased — we’ve had a “G” thang for Snoop ever since the “What’s My Name?“/”Gin And Juice” days — which is why we figured we’d find out what you guys thought of the Dogg After Dark series premiere.

We have no idea whether Jess and Alycia (a.k.a. Angela and Vanessa’s new West Coast besties) call/write/text home 24/7 like (ahem) some gals we know, but the fact that they hang with Rev Run’s doting daughters makes them honorary Daddy’s Girls in our book.

And since we’re all about friendly competition here, we figured we’d celebrate the end of Season 1 (sniff, sniff!) by finding out which real (or honorary) “DG” you’d most want as your BFF. Not only did we like Whit’s sassy new ‘tude, we just lurved the matching Marla Bis Top (compliments of DVF of course!) she chose to wear.

As the crews prepare for this week’s show opening, everyone’s doing their best to bring their ‘A’ game. And that precise attitude is what sent Tallie Brinson (Strikers All-Stars) on an emergency trip to the dentist for a busted tooth and a cut lip.

When we think of rap battles, we generally think East Coast/West Coast rivalries, Tupac versus Biggie and Eminem’s epic cinematic portrayal of himself a fictional white rapper from Detroit. But we never thought we’d see the day when Snoop Dogg went toe-to-toe with hotel heiress/gangsta rapper, Paris Hilton.

The irony of this week’s Battle of the Sexes Challenge is that the remaining crews — both guys and girls — get along famously. And even though they’ve all got the added task of learning an extra group number, rehearsing for the show’s special opening actually seems to be relieving some of the stress. Take a look:

Shaquille O’Neal has gone and done it again … and we don’t mean he scored a winning basket. On Sunday night the sports legend introduced the NBA All-Star Game using his unique brand of over-the-top entertainment — a dance collabo with ABDC’s JabbaWockeeZ, to be specific. After all, Olivia’s unemployed cuz — who’s been living on her sofa for weeks — has already worn out his welcome, tried ‘Liv’s patience and LITERALLY been handed his walking papers (i.e. a helpfully pre-packaged file of apartment listings), which, we’re told, is socialite speak for “get the eff out.”

But don’t be so quick to discount the underdog. True, Jay’s foray into couch-crashing began only recently (after Adam branded him the “third wheel” and threw him out with zero notice), but the apartmentless Aussie is already making up for lost time by ordering his gracious host/girlfriend to cook him meals and fetch him tea.

We’ve been wanting to see Erin on the prowl ever since she first admitted to being a three-man woman. And after watching the majorly tense confrontation between JR and Duncan, which culminated in Duncan stroking his beard and running away, it looked like Whit’s free-spirited friendzie was about to be single and fabulous once again. Only when that magical moment came, Erin was less Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City … and more rom com spinster, Sandra Bullock. (That cliched “You have no messages” moment? Classic While You Were Sleeping Bullock!)
