SP Telemedia Limited (SOT) is a multi-media full service telecommunications company providing a range of voice, internet and data solutions to a wide range of customers. SP Wholesale provides broadband services to other carriers, government organisations and large corporations.

SOT listed on the ASX in May 2001. In 2004 SOT acquired Nine Network affiliate, NBN. In October 2005, SOT elected to consolidate all of the SPT companies (Soul Pattinson Telecommunications, SPT Telecommunications, SPTCOM) into the one new brand, Soul.

SOT operates in the Telecommunications Sector offering wholesale and retail services to the domestic market. Most of their business is in Internet and Wide Area Network connections, but they also offer a range of telephony services.

SOT has developed and rolled out a national IP network. The nework was built from the ground up to impart Video over IP for Digital Television distribution. It carries DTV for NBN Television, WIN Television, Prime, SBS, ABC and TEN as well as the standard Wide Area Network and Voice over IP services for a large number of Corporate and Government customers.

SOT provides telecommunications services to various other carriers, State and Federal Governments (such as the NSW Department of Education and Training), and various private companies including Integrity, Internet Image and NBN Network.
