Before forming Two Tongues, Max Bemis, Chris Conley, and Coby Linder had previously collaborated on a cover song of Bob Dylan’s The Man In Me for the compilation album Paupers, Peasants, Princes & Kings: The Songs of Bob Dylan, released by Doghouse Records in 2006. After the collaboration was a success Bemis asked Conley about potentially doing an album together, Conley responded positively by saying “I would do it with no one else, nothing could be more epic!”

This is pretty bad, unfortunately. I've always found Conley's voice grating, so I wasn't really expecting much, but still. They're just too old to get away with lyrics like "Let me stay asleep 'cause I don't care, I won't wait for you to believe our love is here." Hopefully SA's new album will make up for this.

well, being both a huge saves the day fan & say anything fan, i have to say that this is probably one of the best collaborations. the lyrics aren't as great as neither saves the day's or say anything's own stuff, but the music is just as great.

bakesmusic, you suck. Have you listened to ...Is A Real Boy, or any of the early stuff? Or the demos? It's all amazing. You're obviously cracked and/or deaf.

Mokena, Say Anything sucks. Trying to make funny lyrics about being a homosexual jew dont make you a good song writer :)

Is it me, or do no tracks really stand out? I'm a HUGE Say Anything fan, and with this album... no songs really stand out to me. Maybe once I play it a few more times some songs will become more apparent, but at first listen, it seems as if this will for sure be an album I'll only listen to very casually. Oh well. At least Say Anything is recording a new album.
