Quick Take: ‘Velvet Assassin’ Preview

With no “Splinter Cell” or “Metal Gear Solid” in sight, sexy femme fatale-starring “Velvet Assassin” from German developer Replay Studios is one of few new stealth games, and while a near-final demo shown to us had some of the most impressive lighting we’ve ever seen, often clueless A.I. gave us pause.

Game Diary - January 14, 2009: Math

Despite yesterday being Tuesday, I got a tiny bit of gaming in by doing some multiplication drills in “Personal Trainer Math” for the DS (I’m really good at them) and by loading up “Fable 2” for the first time since election day to discover that my character had profited abotu 132,000 gold pieces since last I played — still not enough for the castle. Not much else to report.
