Real World: Brooklyn airs Thursdays at 10pm, but you don’t have to wait ’til then to check out the raw footage. Every day, I’ll be sifting through the ‘Real World Dailies‘ to make sure you’re getting your fill of the BK roomies. (Tough job, I know, but somebody’s gotta do it!)

Since today’s the inaugural edition of Real World Dailies (for this season, anyway) we figured we’d start things off with some gripping never-before-seen footage. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find anything like that, so instead, we’re hitting you with Part 2 of Chet and Ryan’s crazy, drunken Row Boat Sing-Along!

We’re not gonna lie. We kind of enjoyed watching the Trojan banana swimming with the fishes. Especially after that whole biz about Chet (not) going through JD’s things was finally, painfully cleared up. And while we get that not everyone loves a prank war, we couldn’t help thinking JD needs to lighten up. ‘Cause right now, dude’s wound up tighter than Amy Winehouse on “Uppers Day.”

‘Course, we had the same exact thought a few minutes later, when we watched Ryan try to rip his own face off after getting pecked on the lips, granny-style, by a dude.  And when we saw Chet rip his hammered (Cuban-American) roommate for coming off as immigrationally insensitive.

+ Think JD  was just a smidge too intense when he told Chet to cut out the harmless pranks OR ELSE?! Did Ryan maybe, slightly overreact to Least Sexual Smooch Of All Time? Was Chet crazy to try to talk policy reform with Mr. Tequila Breath?

Up until yesterday, I had only met one Real Worlder in my life, and that was Chet. (We met in the Men’s room at Penn Station. I KID! We’re both straight!) Chet stopped by the MTV Newsroom a couple months ago to get a lesson in news reporting from our own Kim Stolz. But this was before Chet was CHET-THE- METROSEXUAL-MORMON-VIRGIN-WHO-LIKES-TO-PLAY-PRANKS-AND-WEAR-GUYLINER…

Anyway, yesterday I got to meet three Real Worlders for real: Scott, Baya and Devyn, who agreed to tape a cameo for tonight’s Detox. Let me tell you — not only were they polite, they were real! (Although they weren’t so accepting of the NINTH cast member of their season: Jim-Ho-Tep. Check the video below to see what I mean.

And wait! There’s more! My in-the-know superstar producer Brendan Kennedy thought Ryan’s drag queen “girlfriend” looked familiar. Sure enough, he knew Peppermint, and she was already in his Rolodex! One phone call later, Peppermint was all up in my business, giving me some of her sweet, chocolate peppermint love. Awesome.

So what’s not to love about tonight’s MTV Detox? We’ve got drag superstars, Real World cast members and a quick trip to the “Reality TV Zoo.” So what are you waiting for? Clicky ‘Play’!

Just like we did with the premiere, Baya, Devyn and Scott sat down with Remote Control to watch the second episode of Real World: Brooklyn … and once again, there were some strong reactions from the roommates about what they saw on screen. Check out our latest edition of After World for the inside story on Ryan’s drunken behavior, Chet’s sex obsession, Baya’s dance audition and so much more!

Halfway through the first ep of Real World: Brooklyn we started experiencing this crazy feeling of deja vu. And not just because we’ve seen more of the 20 odd seasons of RW than we’d care to admit. (Fact: A lady NEVER reveals her age. Just ask our mother, who’s been 25 since approximately 1978.)

No, this was more about feeling like we’d seen one of the roomies somewhere before. And then we realized what was so familiar — Sarah! Or, as she used to be known, Lacey from RW: Austin!

We usually find the Real World premieres rather overwhelming. In between trying to remember everyone’s names, faces and personality quirks, we’re also trying to check out the house, assess the rooming sitch and predict who’s gonna be gettin’ it on in the hot tub — all in 60 minutes or less.

‘Course, that doesn’t mean we didn’t find time to form a coupla snap judgments about the new housemates. (After all, wasn’t it Ryan who said he could have anyone pegged after just 5 minutes of meeting them?) And in the interest of science, we thought we’d put Ryan’s theory to the test — and find out who you guys liked the best! Based on the (limited) footage you’ve seen so far…

Katelynn probably doesn’t want to go down as “the transgendered one” in the house, but her appearance on Real World: Brooklyn has already proven to be an eye-opening experience for some (like her somewhat-less-than-PC roomie, Ryan).

So how are people in the transgendered community reacting to Katelynn’s RW debut? Our friendzies over at MTV News decided to investigate and predictably, the response was mixed.

As much as we think Ryan from Real World: Brooklyn’s a cutie with mostly good intentions (he’s bromancing the Mormon after all), he wasn’t exactly politically correct (or kind) while debating the question of Katelynn’s gender on tonight’s RW premiere. So does he have regrets about referring to her as an “it” instead of a “she” during their first few days of living together? Sort of. Check out this clip of Ryan on tonight’s After Show as he attempts to explain his insensitivity:

Katelynn made an After Show appearance as well — and was bombarded with questions about her gender reassignment surgery. The people wanna know! Watch her school some Real World vets on her new and improved anatomy:

Ever wonder what it’s like for the Real World roomies to see themselves appear on the show long after taping has finished and they’ve said all their goodbyes? Like, whaddya think RW: Hollywood’s Joey was feeling when he saw himself drink straight from the bottle and then morph into the Incredible Hulk? Or what could it have been like for Real World: Denver’s Brooke to watch herself have a mental breakdown over some crusty mustard and a dirty pot?

We decided to do a little experiment and invite three Real World: Brooklyn cast members — Baya, Scott and Devyn — over to the office for a special screening of the premiere. The inside scoop they gave us, as well as the embarrassed/amused/bewildered/shocked looks on their faces during show time, were pretty priceless … and luckily we caught it all on camera! Check out the video below to see Baya squirm over seeing herself bump and grind (butt crack blurred of course), along with many other cast member reactions to big moments from the first episode:

Bye the bye, we had so much fun during the screening that we invited the girls and guy back each week to watch the latest show and give us the inside story on everything that went down. Check back next Wednesday night for more of the After World — you might just see some new faces join the party…

We learned a lot from watching the Real World: Secrets Revealed special this weekend. But the show also left us with a lot of as-yet-unanswered questions. Which is why we’ve compiled a list of things we wanna know. Feel free to add your own questions in the comments!

+ Who holds the record for breaking the most crap in the RW house? (Our guess: Wes)
+ Which guy/girl was the bitchiest to the MTV production crew?
+ Which cast was the hands-down hottest? (Our vote: Las Vegas, but we’d be interested to hear what the RW alums think.)
+ Presumably, the Real Worlders have parents — what do they think about all this? What were the hardest/most disturbing scenes for them to watch?
