COLUMNS

ComicBook Goddess
Comic Goddess explores the world of comics from a female point of view. Joanne Ellen Mutch, comic artist and self professed "fangirl" draws from her own experiences as a collector, a retailer and a creator to give an honest and insightful view into her favorite hobby. Join Joanne every other Wednesday to discover the truth - the fastest way to a REAL woman's heart, is through her comic books.
Appears bi-weekly on Wednesdays

First Impressions
The one thing that seems to tie together most of the fans of the comic book medium is an aspiration to be one of the select few creating those books. Nearly every professional working today comes from a fanboy passion for comics, traveling the road from fan to connoisseur and then to professional. Unlike film or TV, it’s an attainable goal. Joshua Hale Fialkov is a living example as he is currently living his dream as up-and-coming comic creator.
Appears weekly on Thursdays

Guiding Lines
Guiding Lines brings you up to date on a different series each Tuesday, the latest issue of which is due on the stands the following day. We know how hard it is to know when a comic book is worth picking up, again or for the first time. Jose Clemente has a reading list as long as your arm, and can let you know the who, what when, where, and why of a title hitting the stands that very week.
Appears weekly on Tuesdays

Industrial Evolution
Industrial Evolution takes a look at the fans inside the creators in the form of fun interviews with creators to spotlight the love they have of the comics medium. Jason Berek-Lewis occasionally takes a break from the interviews to spotlight some books he thinks are worth checking out. Every now and then he also writes a "State of the Industry" style article or an editorial focusing on the evolution of the comics industry and how certain people, books or trends can effect the comic landscape.
Appears bi-weekly on Wednesdays

Komic Sutra
Join village idiot J.P. Dorigo on a romp through his insanity as he talks about anything and everything involving pop culture. Watch J.P. tackle the tough issues that no one cares about. Sometimes there’s no mention of pop culture at all. Sometimes it’s just mindless ramblings. Sometimes it’s the greatest thing you’ve ever read. Don’t miss the column that nobody’s talking about. A little something for everyone, even your pets.
Appears weekly on Mondays

Library of Babble
Writer-theorist Jorge Luis Borges imagined a near-limitless library where every possible book existed – every combination of letters and words...but not pictures. But since the comic book medium (AKA graphic novels, sequential art) is the hybrid of both words and pictures, of literate and art, Borges’ Library of Babel threatens to explode with an infinite catalogue if left unchecked. Comic writer and scholar A. David Lewis attempts to bridge this chasm (and others -- between the scholarly and the commercial, the superhero and the small press, the industrial and the creative) with his monthly love letter to comics: The Library of Babble.
Appears on the second Tuesday of every month

Write Handed
Whether you're a writer or an artist, you're still telling stories. As such, you have an obligation to tell the best stories possible. Write Handed is here to help. Not simply another "How To" column and definitely not just for writers, Write Handed is a weekly exploration into the art of storytelling, an examination of the past and present for the best (and worst) examples of the form.
Appears weekly on Fridays
