Full Biography
Just Surrender formed in 2003 when Meunier, Maffucci and Miller began playing together in high school. After tightening their line-up with the addition of Simons, who shares vocals with Maffucci, the group recorded a four-song EP in New York's sought-after Nada Recording Studios with producer John Naclerio (My Chemical Romance, Brand New, Senses Fail).
Their yearning vocals, angst-filled lyrics and emo-tinged punk struck a chord with listeners, leading to about half a million downloads of their music in a matter of months. After hitting the road to touch and expand their fan base, Just Surrender went back into the studio with Naclerio to record their debut full-length album, If These Streets Could Talk. It was released in July 2005 on Broken English Records.
