    Vudu has added a Web application for its set-top boxes, which will deliver access to YouTube and photo site Flickr as well as such TV series as Today, The Rachel Maddow Show and MTV News.
  • Consumers watch VOD more, visit theaters less
    Many U.S. consumers are watching video-on-demand instead of going to the movie theater as more try to save money and take advantage of both high-definition content and a wider range of content that can be delivered to the home, according to a report released by Parks Associates.
  • Context, not content, is king
    The mass broadcast mentality still distracts us with the prospect of big-time hits when what we need to do, in this narrowcast new world, is back a much larger pool of smaller winners.
