Search Tips | |
Phrases | Multiple words are first searched together as a single phrase. If no matching phrase is found, they are then searched as separate words. To search words as a phrase only, put them in quotes. Examples : "Venetian blind", "blind Venetian" |

Wildcards |
Words may be right-truncated using an asterisk. Use a single asterisk ('*') in place of 1 to 5 characters. -- Use a double asterisk '**' for over five characters. The '*' wildcard may also be embedded in a search string. You may also use '?' to replace a single character anywhere within a word. Examples : gr?pe, Steinb*, inter** |
Boolean Searches |
You may use "and" or "or" to specify multiple words in any field, in any order. Use "and not" to exclude words. Example : stocks and bonds Example : (alaska or canada) and (adventure and not vacation) |
Grouping | Keyword search results are grouped by relevance, with the most likely titles at the top of the list. Each group represents a similar level of relevance, sorted by date or title. To get an ungrouped result set, use boolean operators. |
Proximity Operators |
Use "near" to specify words close to each other, in any order. Example : grapes near wrath |
