Erin Maxwell
Variety.com news editor Erin Maxwell likes to tell people we found her living in the supply room where she had made a nest from back issues of V-Life and discarded Sharpies. After cleaning her up, she was taught about the fundamentals of society by watching reality television non-stop for five months. During this developmental period, she learned the basics of non-fiction television: Most of middle America cannot sing but refuse to believe it ("American Idol"), getting drunk means never having to say you're sorry ("Real World," "Flavor of Love") and Jewish chefs are obessed with pork (All cooking shows, "Ace of Cakes'). We have since armed her with a computer and blog, where she will be recapping reality shows.
