Free group tours of Irvine Ranch Water District's Michelson Water Reclamation Plant are available for community groups within the IRWD service area. Field trips are available for students in the fifth grade or older from schools within the IRWD service area.

As time permits, the District will attempt to accommodate tour requests from visiting water and wastewater industry professionals from public agencies outside the IRWD service area.

Tours are available year-round on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays by appointment. Allow approximately 90 minutes to two hours for this walking tour. No sandals or open-toed shoes are allowed on the tour; tennis shoes or other sturdy walking shoes are advised.
