Soccer! It's the world's sport and has the greatest international sports tournament of any other sport in the world. It's also fun to fanatically support your country and favorite club. Hamburg SV: vierzig jahre Bundesliga!

Well when I was young it was baseball and I was a Met and a Yankee fan(in the days when they weren't so divided and they both pretty much stunk). Then I met my husband and it was hockey, too fast and too violent now except for my favorite goalie Marty. Now I'm back to the slower and not so relaxing world of baseball. I'm a Met fan so basically loved the beginning of the season, not so much the end. But I do wish the Rockies win the world series, it'll make it easier to bear.

I don't understand spectator sport. For me, sport is for participation! [Sigh] I'm preparing to go out cycling.

Meditation is practiced by millions of people worldwide. To many it is a doorway to the non-physical, energetic and spiritual aspects of life, a state of heightened awareness. To the yogis, meditation is a systematic process of moving inward, through those levels, so as to experience the center of consciousness.

Tennis! In fact, I'm a bona fide tennis geek.

Both playing and watching though there's been rather more of the latter and far too little of the former recently! Thank goodness for Wii sports. I played like a demon today...

Interesting - and nice - point :-)

I like being a spectator at sports in which I have no talent or ability, and I like to watch truly talented athletes doing what they do best. I like watching baseball (typically play-offs and the World Series), track and field, and college basketball (the latter because it's so unpredictable :-).
