Obituaries and In Memoriam can be placed by emailing ssobits@sun-sentinel.com Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.- 2 p.m., Sunday 1 - 4 p.m. Holidays hours are 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Here's how to submit obituary information online:

To submit online, click here.
Photos should be sent in JPEG format. Deceased name should be the file name. Scan photo at 200 dpi at 2"x2" size.
Text should be sent in a separate word document.
Photos cannot be processed on Saturday, Sunday or holidays.
Include your billing information; first and last name, complete address and telephone number.
For verification purposes, we require the name and telephone number of the funeral home/crematory handling the arrangements.
Photograph charge is an additional $155.80.

Obituary Rate: $110.00 for 11 lines, additional lines $8.20.

Obituaries appear in print and online.

The Sun-Sentinel Company reserves the right to correctly classify and edit all copy or reject or cancel any advertisement at any time. All ads placed by phone are read back to advertiser at time of placement.

A small percentage of calls between our employees and customers are evaluated by supervisory personnel. Calls are randomly selected to ensure that our customers receive prompt, courteous service and accurate information. These calls are not recorded.
