This section contains publications and reports from The National Archives and guidance issued on behalf of the Head of the Government Knowledge and Information Management Function. Guidance in this area is for those in the Civil Service and wider public sector organisations, and will be updated on an ongoing basis.

  • The Digital Continuity project is going out for consultation on its standards and requirements for digital continuity in UK government. This document defines the fundamental outcomes that any digital continuity solution for UK Government must achieve. We´ve produced them to help departments realistically assess whether potential alternatives to the shared service we´re developing fully address digital continuity issues. The consultation period is 30 days, and consultation will close on 2 May 2008.
