In a 4-0 vote Monday, the City Council changed the zoning of the 71.66-acre site, allowing the district to eventually build the 1,600-student school. Councilwoman Michelle Berger was absent from the meeting.
School officials still have to share a detailed site plan with the city and get approval to build up to three stories. If it gets through the rest of that process, the district could build the school in time for the 2010-2011 school year. ">Zoning change for K-8 approved in PSL
