lastChild Property

Retrieves a reference to the last child in the childNodes collection of an object.

Syntax

HTMLN/A
Scripting[ oElement = ] object.lastChild

Possible Values

oElement Object that receives the last child.

The property is read-only. The property has no default value.

Remarks

In Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, This method now applies to the attribute object.

Example

This example implements the lastChild property to obtain a reference to the last child element of an object.
