application/x-www-form-urlencoded.
Remarks
The enctype property was introduced in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6. If backwards compatibility is required, use the encoding property.
Windows Internet Explorer also recognizes "multipart/form-data," which is required, by using a POST method, to submit a file upload to the server.
In Internet Explorer 6 and later, enctype sets or retrieves the MIME encoding for the form.
