Health Services Administration

Minnesota State University Moorhead's program in Health Services Administration was established in 1998 and is structure as a comprehensive curriculum (science, business, social sciences, and health care management) that permits specialization in various domains of health care delivery.  The program prepares students to be a future health care leader eligible to practice in the field of health and aging service administration.

MSUM's Bachelor of Science degree program in Health Services Administration offers the undergraduate student and extensive educational experience focused on today's issues, dedicated and committed faculty with real world experiences, and a commitment for the development of each student in reaching their fullest potential.  Our goals is to provide a learning experience that prepares the healthcare leaders of tomorrow and develops the interpersonal skills of each individual student to be productive citizens.  Graduate of MSUM's Health Services Administration program will have an academic understanding of health services management, coupled with practical experiences through an internship in a premier health care organization.  Elective courses allow students an opportunity to specialize in various health care delivery fields such as Health Services Management, Elder Services Management, Ambulatory Services Management, and Foundation Management.
