Microsoft Work Group Server Protocol Program
Microsoft has designed the Work Group Server Protocol Program (WSPP) to meet the obligation to make protocol technology available to relevant undertakings and allow the use of its technology in the manner required by the European Commission's Decision issued on 24 March 2004 (Decision). In this regard, Microsoft has established a licensing program in consultation with the Commission that includes a process for evaluating the protocol technology, a royalty structure, and various license forms. In addition, Microsoft is committed to working constructively and in a spirit of good faith to craft appropriate royalties and licenses that may depart from programmatic offerings in order to address the needs of particular undertakings.
