Brigham Young University provides a number of benefit programs for regular full-time faculty, staff, and administrative personnel including group medical, dental, disability, and life insurance. BYU also offers a selection of retirement programs to choose from.
Tuition Benefit
The University has an excellent tuition benefit that enables eligible personnel and their families to continue their education. Eligible personnel may register for up to six credit hours each semester.
Wellness Program
BYU cares about the health and well-being of its employees. "Y BE FIT" is the cornerstone of BYU's comprehensive wellness program. The mission of the program is to help individuals make healthier lifestyle choices leading to enhanced well-being, greater productivity, and more satisfying lives.
Employees have access to physical facilities such as weight rooms, basketball courts, tennis courts, the indoor and outdoor tracks, and the swimming pool.
Employee Discounts
Full-time employees of BYU enjoy discounts across campus, from the BYU Bookstore to athletic events.
Harold B. Lee Library
Employees receive access to the Harold B. Lee Library – the number one ranked college library in the country by the Princeton Review, ahead of such schools as Harvard, Yale, and Stanford. The library is also home to the Utah Valley Family History Library, the second largest family history library in the LDS Church.
