BYU Announces Formation of Laura F. Willes Center for Book of Mormon Studies

Laura Willes President Cecil O. Samuelson has announced the formation of the Laura F. Willes Center for Book of Mormon Studies at Brigham Young University.

“The Willes Center, as it has already come to be known, will form an integral part of BYU’s Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship,” he said.

BYU Performing Group Tours China

YA Tour China HONG KONG-The Young Ambassadors, a renowned student performing group from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, brought their Broadway Rhythm show to five cities in China, marking the 21st time a BYU performing group has toured in China since 1979. The group started its tour in Hong Kong.

Ground Broken for N. Eldon Tanner Building Addition at BYU

TannerGroundbreaking The planned addition to the N. Eldon Tanner Building is officially underway after ground was broken on the campus of Brigham Young University April 25.

The groundbreaking ceremony was conducted by President Cecil O. Samuelson and was presided over by Elder W. Rolfe Kerr, who is a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy and also serves as commissioner of education for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
