Vitreoretinal ServiceThe Vitreoretinal Service provides a broad array of services in disease and surgery of the retina and vitreous. The Vitreoretinal Service manages a large spectrum of diseases affecting the retina. These diseases include diabetic retinopathy, sickle cell retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, macular hole, maculopathies and toxic retinopathies. Other conditions affecting the retina are treated by this service including retinal detachments, vitreous hemorrhages, uveitis, and eye neoplasms.
